Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), visited Okitipupa on December 22, 2024, for the “Let’s-Go-A-Fishing” program held at Stella Maris College.
The program’s theme: “Goodnews,” was indeed a fitting title, as Pastor Adeboye brought divine blessings and shared the Goodnews of Jesus Christ with the people of the city.
Pastor Adeboye arrived Okitipupa by helicopter, which landed at Methodist High School before proceeding to the venue.
The program was attended by numerous dignitaries and royal fathers, including HRM Oba Michael Obatuga Adetoye, The Jegun of Okitipupa, HRM Oba Thomas Oluwole Adesayo, The Ahaba of Ajaba, and other esteemed royal fathers.
During the event, Pastor Adeboye shared the “Goodnews” of salvation through Jesus Christ, bestowing divine blessings upon the people of Okitipupa and leading many to surrender their lives to Christ.
The program was a resounding success, marking a significant milestone in the spiritual journey of the city.
