I am here watching, smiling because you stand there with your chest out, talking about “moribund health facilities” and how you’re going to “raise the bar” when you become Governor in 2026. You’ve practiced the concerned face, perfected the urgent tone, even brought your wife’s new medical appointment as a prop to boost your healthcare credentials.
And don’t be too surprised because she was elected through political manipulation because there are also other qualified people.
I’m just sitting here. Smiling. Because I’ve seen this show before, and trust me, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO tikole lailai), you’re not bringing anything new to the stage.
“Magnificent Ongoing Projects,” Abi?
That’s what you APC people call them, right? These magnificent ongoing projects that exist primarily in your press releases and campaign speeches? I’m not going to waste my energy listing what’s actually happening on the ground versus what you and your party claim is happening. Why would I? The people of Osun can see. They have eyes. They live here.
So when you, Oyebamiji, talk about Osun being “stagnant” and suffering from “negligence,” I just… chuckles… okay o. If you say so, AMBO ti kole de lailai.
The Hallucination Diagnosis
“You are just hallucinating 🤣”
That’s not anger, Oyebamiji. That’s not even a proper political attack. It’s just an observation from someone who’s watched you and your APC colleagues conjure problems out of thin air so you can position yourself as the solution. Moribund facilities? Stagnant state? Urgent intervention needed? My brother Oyebamiji, the only thing urgent here is your need to win an election. And the only thing moribund is this tired APC playbook you’re running.

I know you’re searching for a better way to convince and deceive the people of Osun. You’re workshopping new angles, testing different messages, hoping something will stick. But here’s what you need to understand: the people of Osun know your antics. They’ve studied your playbook. They’ve memorized every trick in the APC handbook.
You think a few press conferences and healthcare speeches will make people forget reality? There is nothing, absolutely nothing, you can say to the hearing of these people that will make them forget what they see with their own eyes every single day. You can talk from now until August 8th, 2026, and Osun will still not be listening to your empty promises.
The Reality Check You Need
Let me give you my candid advice, ooooo ogbeni Oyebamiji, because clearly someone needs to tell you: all these things you are saying, you are going nowhere. Come August 8th, 2026, you and your APC will be beating your arms down in defeat because of the magnificent projects our able Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has done and there are still more projects that are ongoing.
So just don’t waste your time and energy. That’s my sincere advice for you.
Which project is even more magnificent than the ones the Governor has done and will still do? Where are you bringing yours from? You better stop deceiving yourself.
See, that’s the thing you don’t understand, Asiwaju Oyebamiji. I’m not your opposition in the traditional sense. I’m not going to meet you point-for-point, promise-for-promise, like we’re in some kind of campaign debate. I’m just here. Present. Aware. Smiling at the audacity of the APC and their anointed candidate.
You want to talk about revamping critical sectors? Go ahead, AMBO. You want to promise transformation in health, education, infrastructure, commerce, agriculture, did I miss any from your APC manifesto? Go ahead.
You want to use Dr. Sekinah Bola-Oyebamiji’s professional achievements as campaign leverage? That’s fine too. It’s creative, I’ll give you that. Very APC: package everything nicely, even if there’s nothing inside.
I’ll just be over here, nodding. “Mmm-hmm. Interesting. Very interesting, Mr. Oyebamiji.”
The Beauty of Patience
Because here’s what I know that you’re hoping Osun people will forget: campaign season makes every APC candidate a prophet. Everyone suddenly has 20/20 vision for what’s wrong and exactly how to fix it. Everyone becomes an expert, especially you, Oyebamiji.
But I’ve been around long enough to know the difference between an APC promise and actual performance, between what sounds good at your press conference and what actually shows up in people’s communities.
So when you, AMBO, talk about your “determination” and your “readiness” to turn around Osun’s fortunes come August 8th, 2026, I’m not impressed. I’m not worried. I’m not even annoyed. I’m just… amused.
The people of Osun are not the same people you think you can manipulate with fancy speeches and empty promises. Osun is wiser now. We’ve learned from experience. We’ve seen through the smoke and mirrors. You can’t deceive us anymore, Oyebamiji.
They’ve heard enough lies. They’ve seen enough failed promises.
They know better now. The days when politicians could talk their way into office with nothing but hot air and campaign jingles are over. The people want results. They want evidence. They want to see what you’ve actually done, not just hear what you promise to do.
And when they look around, they see the work Governor Ademola Adeleke is doing. They see the projects. They see the progress. They see the difference.
What do they see from you? Just words. Just hallucinations.
The Smile That Says Everything
You see, Oyebamiji, the most devastating response to political theater isn’t a counter-attack. It’s not a rival press conference or a strongly-worded statement from the party secretariat. It’s this: calm acknowledgment that you’re performing, and I’m simply not buying a ticket to your show.

So please, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, continue. Tell us more about these magnificent ongoing projects. Paint us more pictures of the Osun you and the APC are going to build. Promise us the moon, the stars, and a fully equipped teaching hospital in every local government.
I’ll be right here smiling, watching, waiting for reality to catch up with your APC hallucinations.
And when August 8th, 2026 comes and goes, we’ll see whose vision was real and whose was just… well, you know, Oyebamiji.
