Why We Expelled Kofa – Kano NNPP Chairman

The Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kano, Suleiman Hashimu Dungurawa, has explained that the party expelled House of Representatives member Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa for allegedly abandoning the party in exchange for a position in the APC presidency.

Reacting to allegations of not been fair to him and not allowing him to defend himself, Dungurawa asked, how can you give a chance to someone who went to town attacking your party and showing his readiness to decamp?

“We took the drastic measures of sacking Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa from our noble party, after understanding that he was clearly seeking a job in Abuja using our party.

“Don’t forget that Kofa had offered an interview attacking Kwankwaso our presidential candidate and also our leader and said he was ready to move out of our party, what are we waiting for.”
