Popular Nigerian gospel artiste Nathaniel Bassey ministered on Monday at the inaugural prayer breakfast for Donald Trump, the newly sworn-in President of the United States.

Recall that Bassey was invited to minister at the event, which is a non-political, faith-based gathering held every four years before the swearing-in of a new administration.

The programme, hosted by Merrie Turner, President and Hostess of the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, provides a platform for intercessory prayers and worship on behalf of the president’s office and the nation’s government.

Nathaniel Bassey, the only Nigerian and African artiste featured on the lineup, inspired attendees in Washington, DC, with his soul-stirring worship, glorifying Jesus through his music.
