VIDEO: Woman Accuses Abuja Doctor of Trafficking Missing Twin, Says Baby was Given to His Wife

Eunice Bright, a Nigerian mother, has made some serious allegations against a medical doctor.

She accused the medical doctor at Divine Rain Maternity Clinic, Abuja, of trafficking one of her newborn twins delivered on June 11, 2022.

Bright, while speaking on Arise News on Friday, alleged that Dr Timothy Zeje handed the missing baby to his wife after telling her and her husband that the second twin had died during childbirth.

“The very day, 11th, in the month of June, 11th, 2022, we came, that is on Saturday. We came and they did another scan for me. And it still showed twins. We called the doctor, the doctor said he’s not around,” she said.

She claimed the delivery process was suspicious, saying she was injected in the shoulder rather than receiving the usual spinal injection.

According to her, she lost consciousness and awoke to find only one child beside her.

“My husband began to ask them, why? Where is the second one? They say, the doctor said the second one is one,” she said.

Bright said her demand to see the remains of the second baby was denied. She was told the child had “scattered beyond recognition.”

She added that nobody was shown to them and the hospital later claimed her scan records were lost in a fire.

Weeks later, Bright said she visited Amak Hospital in Besa for her child’s immunisation and saw the wife of Doctor Zeje carrying two babies, one of whom she believed resembled her missing child.

“When I saw her, I was so shocked. When I saw the baby in her hand, I said why did I look exactly like my own child and what is happening,” she said.

“I was confused. I don’t know which one is my own again.”

She said her husband initially doubted her suspicions but later pledged support after hearing her full account.

Bright vowed to continue the fight for her missing baby despite limited resources.
