A female student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, has stirred massive reactions online after engaging in a physical altercation with a lecturer who interrupted her while she was recording a dance video.
The shocking incident, which has now gone viral, reportedly took place within the university premises, drawing mixed reactions from both students and social media users.
In a video making the rounds online, a young lady was filming a dance clip inside a school hall, possibly for TikTok. The lecturer, needing to pass, tapped her on the back to get her attention and signal her to stop recording.
In chats shared online, it appeared that the lecturer approached the student, asking her to delete the recording because his face was captured in it. However, the situation escalated, and she ended up biting his hand multiple times.
While the man tried to restrain her by holding her hands, reports claim that she went berserk, tearing the lecturer’s clothes, slapping him, and scratching his face.
The video showed the moment the female student attacked the lecturer, leaving onlookers in shock. Despite efforts to seperate them, the student continued to lash out at the academic staff, causing an uproar within the university environment.
It was reported that the student’s mother is a lecturer in Engineering department at the same institution.
