Tinubu to Honour 210 Ex-Corps Members - THE METRO

Two Hundred and Ten Ex-Corps (210) members will receive the Presidential National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) honors award for 2020 to 2023 service years.

In a statement, the scheme’s Director, Media, Emeka Rems Mgbemena, said the event is slated for Tuesday, July 29 this year at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He said the awardees were made up of two hundred (200) Ex-Corps Members who excelled meritoriously in all the Four Cardinal Programmes of the NYSC, namely; Orientation Course, Primary Assignment, Community Development Service and Winding -Up/Passing-Out, in the course of service between 2020 to 2023 Service years.

He noted that others beneficiaries who would be honoured by President Bola Tinubu under the NYSC Hope Alive Initiative.

Among those to be honoured are ten ex-Corps members who suffered various degrees of permanent disabilities while serving their fatherland.
