President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in two National Commissioners for the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).
They are Abdulrazak Tukur, representing the North West region and Sunday Aja, representing the South East.
The President administered the oath of office on the Commissioners just before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Also sworn in by President Tinubu were members of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), Justice Buba Nyaure from Taraba State and Ikpeme Ndem from Cross River State.
However, after the swearing in ceremony, FEC members entered a closed door session with President Tinubu presiding.
Those who attended the FEC meeting included Vice president Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
Also present were the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu; and Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, among others.
