Singer, Raoul Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has attributed his career success to a prayer he offered at the Shiloh programme of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel, in 2013.

Skales, who was experiencing career stagnation after his contract with Banky W’s Empire Mate Entertainment, EME, expired, claimed that he got his biggest hit, ‘Shake Body’, after his colleague, Timaya, took him to Shiloh.

He explained that they were asked to write down seven things they want God to do for them and he wrote that he desired a global hit song seven times.

Skales said he believes his 2015 hit song ‘Shake Body’, which recently resurfaced into a global hit after Barcelona star Lamine Yamal and some of his teammates danced to it, was the fulfilment of his prayer.
