President Bola Tinubu on Friday hosted the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade, and his wife, Abiwumi Owoade, at the State House in Abuja.

The meeting, which also included top government officials such as Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila and Minister of Information and National Orientation Muhammed Idris, underscored the ongoing collaboration between the federal government and traditional institutions.
The Alaafin’s delegation, accompanied by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening cultural ties and exploring avenues for enhanced socio-economic development in Oyo State and the Southwest region.
Tinubu and Oba Owoade posed for photographs alongside key members of the presidential team, symbolizing the unity between Nigeria’s modern political leadership and its traditional heritage.
