Senator Adams Oshiomhole (APC–Edo) has unveiled the first batch of constituency projects for execution in Edo-North Senatorial District.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the projects include the 2.5-kilometre Fugar–Ukhor Road in Etsako Central Local Government Area.

In addition, a block of classrooms will be constructed at Ijemounu Primary School, Ihievbe Ogbe, Owan East Local Government Area.
Speaking during the project handover to contractors on Sunday, Oshiomhole said the six projects represent the first batch of his constituency projects for 2025.
Oshiomhole, represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr Victor Oshioke, said the projects were people-oriented initiatives aimed at improving living conditions across Edo-North.
“This is the first batch of my constituency projects for 2025. The second batch will cut across all wards and six local governments.
“My focus is education, which is why I am building schools to enhance learning environments across the district,” Oshiomhole said.
He emphasised the revival of the ‘red roof revolution’ to ensure pupils and students have a conducive atmosphere for learning.
The senator urged contractors to deliver the projects promptly.
In response, contractors pledged to complete the projects within three months.
Project Manager of Jehovah Ltd., Augustine Erikhumhi, and Aaron Atta of De-golf Allied Ltd. sought community collaboration to meet the timeline.
Community leaders expressed gratitude to Oshiomhole for reviving the ‘red roof revolution’ in schools across the district.
Mr Yakubu Musa and Alh. Abubakar Akokhia expressed optimism that the senator would deliver on his promises, citing his achievements as a former governor.
