…NUOLGS National Headquarters Decorates Distinguished Personalities During Okitipupa Students’ Festival
The National Union of Okititpupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS), National Headquarters Under the leadership of Prince Adeoye Omoleminu, during the grand finale of the Okititpupa Students’ Festival held on 30th December 2025 at the Okitipupa Local Government Secretariat, decorated several eminent personalities in recognition of their outstanding leadership, service, and unwavering support for student and youth development.
At the event, the Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government was formally decorated as the Life Patron of NUOLGS, in appreciation of his continuous support, commitment to student welfare, and contributions to educational and youth advancement within the local government.
The Union also decorated Prof. Dayo Faduyile, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Federal University of Education, Kontagora, as the Grand Patron of NUOLGS, in recognition of his exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and dedication to human and institutional development.
Furthermore, Hon. Babatunde Adefusi Owate, Director-General of the Ondo State Pension Commission, was decorated as a Patron of NUOLGS, acknowledging his impactful service and support for progressive student-oriented initiatives.
In the same vein, Hon. Dr. Mrs. Morenike Alaka, former Chairperson of Okititpupa Local Government, was honoured and decorated as a Mentor of NUOLGS, in recognition of her exemplary leadership, guidance, and motherly role in nurturing young leaders.
Also decorated as Patron of NUOLGS was Hon. Kowe Odunayo Kalusa, Chairman of Ikale North LCDA, for his dedication to grassroots development and youth inclusion in governance.
The Union further honoured Major Elijah Morakinyo, Commanding Officer, 19 Battalion, Okitipupa Barracks, by decorating him as a Patron of NUOLGS, in appreciation of his service to national security, discipline, and moral support to the student community.
The leadership of NUOLGS expressed profound gratitude to all honourees for accepting the decorations and reaffirmed its commitment to fostering unity, leadership, and positive social values among students.
The recognitions symbolize the strong partnership between students and leaders in building a brighter future for Okitipupa Local Government and beyond.
