Okitipupa Local Government Chairman Met with Okitipupa Apex Students Body

…He appreciated the contributions of the students community to the Local Government.    

…Promised that his administration will prioritize the well being of Okitipupa Students.

On March 12, 2025, the National Leadership of NATIONAL UNION OF OKITIPUPA LOCAL GOVERNMENT STUDENTS NUOLGS NATIONAL BODY, led by SEN. PRINCE ADEOYE OMOLEMINU, the newly elected National President, led a delegation of new Executives to the chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon. Andrew Ogunsakin Soga. The meeting aimed to strengthen ties between the local government and students, and to discuss the inauguration of the newly elected union executives, which took place on January 4, 2025.

During the meeting, the Chairman expressed his appreciation for the contributions of the students’ community to the local government, acknowledging their role in shaping the future of Okitipupa.
The Chairman promised that his administration will prioritize the well-being of all students in Okitipupa Local Government, ensuring that their needs are addressed and their potential is harnessed.

Furthermore, the Chairman announced that his administration will support the inauguration of the newly elected National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students Executives, scheduled to take place on 27/02/2025

SEN. PRINCE ADEOYE OMOLEMINU thanked the chairman for the opportunity to meet and praised him as a “leader builder. Comrade Sade Omojugba, the IESC chairman, who clarified the constitutional requirements for the inauguration.

Also In his response, the chairman appreciated the students’ support, acknowledging their efforts to congratulate him on his inauguration day and their decision not to participate in the last protest. He wished the students well in their education.

The Chairman’s meeting with the students’ body demonstrates his commitment to engaging with stakeholders and ensuring that the needs of all members of the community are addressed.
