NUOLGS National Body Strengthens Partnership with Omotoso Electric Energy Company

The National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS) National Body, under the leadership of Sen. Prince Adeoye Omoleminu, on November 13, 2025, paid a courtesy and partnership visit to the management of Omotoso Electric Energy Company, Okitipupa, Ondo State.

During the meeting, the President introduced the Union’s leadership and reaffirmed NUOLGS’s commitment to promoting education, youth empowerment, and community development across Okitipupa Local Government.

Sen. Prince Adeoye Omoleminu outlined key areas of collaboration, including:

• Internship and Industrial Training opportunities for students
• Educational support and scholarship programs
• Youth empowerment and skill acquisition initiatives
• Community development projects and CSR engagements
• Career mentorship and potential employment opportunities for qualified graduates

He also noted that while NUOLGS had previously engaged with the company this visit marks a renewed and strengthened partnership under a more proactive leadership dedicated to advancing Students welfare.

The Union Former Vice President, Hon. Adebusoye Ololade Jeremiah p.k.a Ademight, appreciated the management and acknowledged past collaborations that benefited the students.

In their remarks, Mrs Olushola Seye, HR Manager, warmly welcomed the delegation, while Mr Adamu Baba Muhamed, HSC of the company, assured the team that NUOLGS members would be considered in future job openings.

The Acting Managing Director, Mr Umoh Atonag, commended the proactive engagement of the Union and pledged continuous support.

The Union also formally invited the management to the upcoming Okitipupa Students Festival slated for December, which the company assured it would be represented at.

In closing, Comrade Olatujoye Samson appreciated the management for their hospitality, emphasizing that the visit is part of NUOLGS’s broader mission to rebuild, strengthen, and sustain meaningful partnerships that foster student progress and contribute to the development of Okitipupa Local Government.
