The National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS National Body), under the dynamic leadership of Sen. Prince Adeoye Omoleminu, proudly joined the rest of the world in commemorating Global Clean City Day an international campaign that promotes environmental sanitation, healthy living, and collective community responsibility.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon. Soga Ogunsakin Andrew, for his unwavering support for students, his continuous encouragement, and for always standing firmly by us in our quest for a cleaner and healthier society.

We also acknowledge with gratitude the commitment of the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Tosin, whose consistent presence throughout the exercise was invaluable, as well as the APC Ikale Influential, who despite his busy schedule, took out time to identify with this noble cause.

Our special thanks also go to the vibrant students who turned out in large numbers to participate representatives from TASUED, SACOTEC, AAUA, Owo Poly, FUED ONDO, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, and several other institutions. Your sacrifice, energy, and passion for this campaign reflect the true Aluta spirit of service, unity, and responsibility.

Beyond our student community, the exercise also engaged market women, parents, and community members, as the NUOLGS President personally encouraged them to embrace and sustain the culture of cleanliness in their homes, markets, and public spaces.

We wish to remind our parents and every member of Okitipupa community that a clean environment is not just the responsibility of government but a collective duty. Cleanliness is life, and health is wealth. Keeping our surroundings clean protects our children, strengthens our health, and builds a safer, healthier society for all.
