NUOLGS NATIONAL BODY Embarks on Partnership with Nigeria Police for Enhanced Student Safety

On 18th July 2025, the National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS), National Body, under the New Era administration ably led by Sen. Prince Adeoye Omoleminu (National President), alongside the newly inaugurated executives, paid a courtesy visit to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), SP Akinwumi O. , of Okitipupa Local Government.

The visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between the students’ union and the Nigeria Police Force to foster peace, security, and community development among students and youths in Okitipupa.

During the meeting, Sen. Prince Adeoye Omoleminu, President of NUOLGS National, reaffirmed the union’s commitment to promoting unity, cultural values, and community welfare. He also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the DPO for his unwavering leadership in maintaining law and order within the local government.

Discussions during the visit centered on strategic collaboration to pressing community challenges.

In his response, the DPO commended the visit and expressed his readiness to partner with NUOLGS for the overall development of Okitipupa Local Government.
