DONATION AND INSTALLATION OF 90 UNITS OF 200-WATT SOLAR STREET LIGHTS AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO ARIGIDI AKOKO COMMUNITY
We write with great joy, humility, and a deep sense of commitment to the growth and development of our beloved hometown, Arigidi Akoko.

The Arigidi Akoko Renewal Group (AARG), a non-governmental and non-partisan body made up of indigenous sons and daughters of Arigidi Akoko across the world, is pleased to formally notify the community of the execution of key developmental projects aimed at improving safety, education, and the general wellbeing of our people.
1. Donation and Installation of Solar Street Lights
The Group has fully sponsored the donation and installation of ninety (90) units of 200-watt solar-powered street lights across strategic locations in Arigidi Akoko. The installation coverage includes:
– Agbaluku Junction to Okeagbe Junction
– Okeagbe Junction to Palace Junction
– Palace Junction through Obalende to Okebola Junction
– Okebola Junction through Imo Arigidi Road
This initiative is designed to enhance night-time visibility, improve security, and support socio-economic activities within the community.

2. Educational Support – Donation of Textbooks
In addition to the solar lighting project, the Group has donated textbooks in various subjects to all classes in the following public secondary schools in Arigidi Akoko:
– Okota High School, Arigidi Akoko
– Akoko Anglican Grammar School, Arigidi Akoko
– Ajiroke Technical High School, Arigidi Akoko
This intervention is intended to strengthen teaching and learning outcomes and support our students in achieving academic excellence.


3. Renovation of Classrooms
Furthermore, the Group has undertaken the complete renovation of two (2) classrooms at Okota High School, Arigidi Akoko, to provide a more conducive learning environment for both students and teachers.

All the above projects are fully sponsored by the Arigidi Akoko Renewal Group, under the collective resolve of Arigidi sons and daughters worldwide, and under the leadership of:
