Ndume Alleges Bribery Among Aso Rock Officials

Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume, has accused some officials within the Presidential Villa of demanding bribes from individuals seeking access to President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking during an interview with Arise TV, Ndume claimed that it has become nearly impossible to meet the president without paying certain aides or intermediaries.

Reacting to the recent diplomatic tension between Nigeria and the United States, the lawmaker criticised the people around the president, describing them as “Kakistocrats” who, according to him, lack the capacity to manage governance effectively.

He said, “I don’t have a chance to see the president. The only time I can see the president is when he is going to an event.

“This is how they run the government. I’m telling you, they don’t have people there. The government is dominated by Kakistocrats. If you want to see the president, they will ask you how much.

“I wrote to them that I want to see the president to discuss some financial issues, but they were playing games as if they want you to go to heaven.”
