MultiChoice has announced a fresh reduction in the prices of its decoders, making access to its services more affordable for Nigerian viewers.
The price of a DStv decoder has been lowered from N10,000 to N7,900, while the GOtv decoder is now available for N6,500.
This latest adjustment, effective from November 1, marks the second significant price cut by the company in recent months. The move is part of MultiChoice’s ongoing efforts to enhance customer experience and provide easier access to entertainment ahead of the festive season.
The new price reduction follows an earlier adjustment in June under the “We’ve Got You” campaign, when the DStv decoder price was halved from N20,000 to N10,000, and the GOtv decoder was reduced from N18,600 to N9,900.
Tope Oshunkeye, MultiChoice’s Executive Head of Marketing, said the latest move is intended to ensure that premium entertainment remains within reach for families across Nigeria.
“This would be a great opportunity for more families to spend quality time together, enjoying local and international programming without putting too much pressure on their pockets,” the company added.
