A yet-to-be identified man was allegedly strangled to death by unknown assassins, who dumped his corpse at Kabba Junction, a suburb of Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.
It was gathered that the man was killed on Sunday night as his lifeless body was sighted in the early morning of Monday at the said junction.
A good Samaritan was said to have raised an alarm, which attracted passers- by to the scene at the roundabout where the victim’s body was dumped near a drainage.
The state Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, confirmed the incident, saying the matter is being handled by the ‘D’ division of the command.
