Three strongmen of the opposition New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum and Aliyu Sani Madakin Gini are set to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This followed a crucial meeting between the three members of the National Assembly and the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, at his Abuja residence.
Senator Sumaila represents Kano South, Rurum, who is the former Speaker, Kano Assembly represents Rano/Bunkure/Kibiya, while Madakin Gini is for Dala federal constituency.
