Bode Obanla, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State on Community Engagement (North), has resigned from his position, effective July 17, 2025.
He made this known in a letter addressed to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, dated July 16, 2025. Obanla stated that his decision to resign was to enable him focus on his growing business, which now demands his full attention.
He also confirmed that he has returned all government properties in his possession, including the official Hilux van, through the office of the SSA on Community Engagement (Central).
Obanla expressed his gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for the chance to serve, remarking that his tenure helped him pinpoint critical areas in the Northern Senatorial District that need immediate government intervention.
He said the experience had been enriching and offered prayers for divine blessings on the governor’s leadership.
