In less than three years, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has repaired what was broken and restored hope to our dear state Osun.
The transformation under his leadership is visible in the roads we drive on, the schools our children attend, the hospitals that now deliver quality healthcare, and the renewed spirit of youth empowerment and economic stability across Osun.
Governor Adeleke has shown that governance can indeed have a human face , one defined by compassion, transparency, and genuine service.
His style of leadership has rekindled confidence in public institutions and restored the dignity of our people.
For this reason, continuity has become not just a matter of politics but a necessity for the survival and progress of our beloved state.
We must not allow Osun to go back to Egypt to the era of hardship, neglect, and misrule that characterized the previous APC administration.
The recently presented ₦705.79 billion 2026 Budget of Economic Transformation is yet another evidence of the Governor’s visionary approach to governance.
It is not merely a financial plan , it is a continuation of the people-focused agenda that has brought Osun this far.
With ₦317.41 billion (45%) allocated to recurrent expenditure and ₦388.37 billion (55%) to capital projects, the Governor has once again demonstrated fiscal discipline and developmental foresight.
This budget places emphasis on infrastructure renewal, human capital development, healthcare delivery, and youth empowerment, all aimed at improving the living standards of ordinary citizens.
Under Governor Adeleke’s watch, Osun has witnessed the completion of over 300km of quality roads and several flyovers that ease transportation and boost commerce.
His administration’s timely payment of salaries and pensions has restored the trust of workers and retirees in government.
Through initiatives like the Imole Medical and Surgical Outreach, free healthcare has reached the grassroots, while the Imole Youth Corps has empowered over 10,000 young people across key sectors.
The Governor’s vision for a “liveable and prosperous smart mega city” is gradually taking shape. His commitment to good governance has attracted partnerships and goodwill from both local and international stakeholders.
A striking example is the generous donation by philanthropist Mrs. Folorunso Alakija of the new Medical Research and Training Hospital , a project that will revolutionize healthcare and research in the state.
Governor Adeleke’s humility, accountability, and compassion have become the pillars of a new Osun. His governance reflects not extravagance but contentment, not propaganda but performance.
The progress recorded so far clearly shows that if this kind of leadership continues, Osun will soon become the small London of the Southwest — a model of development, equity, and prosperity.
As citizens, it is our duty to reciprocate good leadership. Governor Adeleke has earned the trust and admiration of the people through his genuine service and remarkable achievements.
The best way to sustain this progress is to give him the opportunity to consolidate and complete his transformative agenda.
We must not let the light of Imole go dim. The motion and movement of progress must continue.
The mandate should remain in the hands of the PDP — the party that has proven it can deliver for the people.
Governor Adeleke’s performance within such a short time is a testament to what visionary leadership can achieve. For Osun’s growth, stability, and future, continuity in 2026 is the only way forward.
