…A Testament to Complete Loyalty

On the Matter of True Loyalty
Let me begin by addressing a fundamental truth that often gets diluted in political discourse: there is no such thing as 99% loyalty. Loyalty, by its very nature, is absolute, it is either complete at 100%, or it does not truly exist at all.

This is not mere semantics or philosophical wordplay. When someone claims to be “mostly loyal” or offers qualified support, what they are really saying is that their commitment is conditional, transactional, and subject to change when circumstances shift. Such a person holds back that critical 1% as an escape route, a hedge against their own uncertainty, or worse, as leverage for future negotiations.

In the arena of politics and governance, this distinction becomes even more critical. A leader needs to know who stands with them unreservedly, who will defend their vision when it is unpopular, and who will remain steadfast when challenges arise. Anyone operating below 100% loyalty cannot be trusted with sensitive responsibilities, cannot be relied upon in times of crisis, and will inevitably reveal themselves as a fair-weather supporter when the political climate becomes stormy.

This is why I declare, without reservation or qualification, my complete and unalloyed support for Governor Ademola Adeleke. My loyalty is not 95%, not 99%, but a full 100%. And this is not blind allegiance, it is informed, deliberate, and rooted in conviction.

The Foundation of My Unwavering Support

In the landscape of Nigerian politics, where loyalty is often transactional and support shifts with the political winds, I write today to declare my absolute and unalloyed support for Governor Ademola Adeleke as he seeks re-election in Osun State. This is not a position I take lightly, nor is it born of blind partisanship. Rather, it stems from a careful observation of his governance, his commitment to the people, and the tangible progress I have witnessed during his tenure.

From the moment Governor Adeleke assumed office, he demonstrated a refreshing departure from business-as-usual politics. His administration has prioritized the welfare of ordinary citizens, focusing on critical sectors that directly impact daily life: education, healthcare, infrastructure, and workers’ welfare. These are not mere talking points but areas where measurable improvements have been recorded.

The education sector, in particular, has seen remarkable attention. The prompt payment of teachers’ salaries and the investment in school infrastructure signal a leader who understands that a state’s future is built in its classrooms. When our children learn in conducive environments and our teachers are motivated, we invest in generations to come.

Infrastructure development under his watch has also been noteworthy. Roads are being rehabilitated, healthcare facilities upgraded, and public amenities improved. These may seem like basic governmental responsibilities, but in an era where such fundamentals are often neglected, they deserve recognition and reward.

This is why I stand with Governor Adeleke at 100%. He deserves supporters who are fully committed to his success, not opportunists calculating their next move. He needs a team that believes wholeheartedly in his vision for Osun State, not individuals hedging their political bets.

My 100% support does not mean I am blind to areas that need improvement. Rather, it means I am committed to working constructively within the system to help achieve better outcomes. True loyalty includes offering honest counsel, highlighting challenges, and contributing solutions but always from a foundation of unwavering commitment to the leader’s success.

My support for his re-election is also rooted in the alternative before us. Continuity in governance allows for the completion of ongoing projects and the full realization of long-term development plans. Disrupting this progress midstream would be a disservice to Osun State and its people.

Moreover, Governor Adeleke has demonstrated the character traits we need in leadership: accessibility, humility, and genuine concern for the welfare of the people. These qualities, combined with his track record, make him deserving of a second term. A leader of such caliber deserves supporters who match his commitment with their own unwavering loyalty.

A Call for Steadfastness

As we approach the next electoral cycle, I urge my fellow citizens to evaluate not only the candidates but also themselves. Ask yourself: am I offering complete support to the leader I believe in, or am I keeping one foot out the door?

Am I fully committed to the success of this administration, or am I positioning myself to claim credit for successes while distancing myself from challenges?

Politics rewards those who are steadfast and punishes those who are wavering. History remembers the loyal lieutenants who stood by transformational leaders, not the opportunists who switched sides when convenient.
I stand with Governor Ademola Adeleke not because my support is guaranteed or purchased, but because it is earned. I believe he deserves the opportunity to continue the good work he has started and to build upon the foundation already laid. And I offer him not 99% of my loyalty, but 100%—because anything less would be dishonest, unreliable, and ultimately worthless.

For these reasons and many more, my loyalty and support remain firmly, completely, and unshakeably with Governor Adeleke. I am not a fair-weather supporter. I am not waiting to see which way the wind blows. I am not positioning myself for advantage regardless of outcome. I am all in, at 100%, and I will remain so.

I call on all well-meaning citizens of Osun State to examine their own hearts and make the same commitment. If you believe in Governor Adeleke’s vision, then support him completely. If you think he deserves re-election, then say so without qualification. If you trust his leadership, then demonstrate that trust through unwavering loyalty.

The choice is ours to make. Let us choose wisely. Let us choose continuity. Let us choose commitment. Let us choose 100% loyalty to Governor Ademola Adeleke.
