FULL LIST: Ajibade, Okoronkwo Shortlisted for CAF Women’s Player of the Year award

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the nominees for the 2025 CAF Women’s Awards.

In a statement released on Friday via its official website, CAF announced that 10 players and teams have been shortlisted across various categories, including African Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Interclub Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year, Club of the Year, and Young Player of the Year.

In the African Player of the Year category, Nigeria’s Rasheedat Ajibade and Esther Okoronkwo join reigning winner Barbara Banda, Portia Boakye, Tabitha Chawinga, Ghizlane Chebbak, Mama Diop, Sanaa Mssoudy, Temwa Chawinga, and Rachael Kundananaji on the list.
