Super Falcons staged a stunning 3–2 comeback victory over host nation Morocco to win the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Saturday night at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat. In a dramatic and emotionally charged final, Morocco raced to a 2–0 lead in the first half, sending the home crowd into frenzy. But the Nigerians, driven by experience, belief, and championship DNA, rallied fiercely in the second half.

Despite Nigeria’s triumph, Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak secured the Golden Boot with five goals, and South Africa walked away with the Fair Play Award.
