The Peoples Democratic Party has officially expelled the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, alongside Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti State, and the party’s former National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu and several others from the party over alleged anti-party activities.
Their expulsion was announced on Saturday during the party’s national convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to the proceedings, the move was initiated by Chief Olabode George, a former National Vice Chairman of the PDP (South), who tabled the motion before the delegates.
Hon Samaila Buga, the PDP Chairman in Bauchi State, immediately backed the proposal, seconding the motion on the convention floor.
