Senator Okey Ezea, representing Enugu North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, is dead.
Ezea, elected on the platform of the Labour Party, was the last serving federal lawmaker from Enugu State under the party.

He reportedly died on Tuesday in the United Kingdom where he had been receiving medical treatment, according to findings by Daily Post.
The announcement was first made by well-known on-air personality ‘Senator’ Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, who disclosed the development in a Facebook post.
He wrote: “Sad News. Senator Okey Ezea, representing Enugu North, is dead… Rest in Peace.”
Findings also indicate that the late senator had previously undergone medical care in Germany before his condition worsened.
Although the exact circumstances surrounding his death remain uncertain, the news has sparked widespread reactions across social media as colleagues, supporters and members of the public express shock and sympathy.
