A New Year, A Renewed Mission: Securing Adeleke’s Re-election in 2026 is Non-Negotiable

As we step into 2026, I extend my warmest greetings to every citizen of Osun State and all Nigerians at home and abroad.

The New Year brings with it fresh opportunities, renewed hope, and a collective responsibility to shape the future we desire for our state and nation.

With the dawn of this new year comes an urgent reminder: August 8th, 2026, is fast approaching. On this date, the people of Osun State will once again head to the polls to elect their governor. For those of us committed to progress, continuity, and transformative leadership, the mission is clear we must secure the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

It is imperative that every supporter understands this crucial development: Governor Ademola Adeleke will be contesting the gubernatorial election under the ACCORD. This is a significant change that requires immediate and widespread sensitization across all local governments, wards, and communities.

The Accord appears first on the ballot paper with the recognizable symbol of a thumbs up. This positioning is strategic, but it only benefits us if our people know where to find us on election day.

Confusion or misinformation about our party platform could cost us valuable votes.

This coming Monday, January 5th, 2026, every supporter must go out and do the needful regarding their voter’s card. Whether it’s registration, transfer, collection, or verification, no one should be left behind. Your voter’s card is your power, your voice, and your contribution to this collective mission.

We can not afford to have supporters who are willing but unable to vote because of administrative delays or negligence. The electoral commission has provided this opportunity. We must seize it without delay.

Why Re-election Matters

Governor Adeleke’s first term has been marked by deliberate efforts to address the infrastructural deficit, improve civil service welfare, and restore dignity to governance in Osun State. From road construction projects to educational reforms, from healthcare improvements to youth empowerment initiatives, the administration has laid a foundation that deserves to be built upon, not abandoned.

Re-election is not merely about rewarding past performance; it is about ensuring that ongoing projects reach completion and that the strategic vision for Osun State’s development continues uninterrupted. A change in administration often means abandoned projects, policy reversals, and wasted resources luxuries we can not afford.

The Collective Responsibility

This campaign is not the governor’s alone. It belongs to every citizen who believes in the Osun State we are building together. From the market woman in Osogbo to the youth in Ile-Ife, from the farmer in Ede to the civil servant in Ilesa, each of us has a role to play.

Our collective move must be strategic and comprehensive. We need grassroots mobilization in every local government, ward-to-ward engagement, and community-to-community advocacy. We must counter misinformation with facts, replace apathy with enthusiasm, and transform individual support into organized political action.

The task before us is clear: massive re-sensitization must begin immediately. Every community leader, party official, support group, and individual advocate must spread the word:

Town hall meetings, community gatherings, social media campaigns, radio announcements, and door-to-door outreach must all carry this consistent message. We can not assume that people know. We must tell them, show them, and ensure they remember when they enter the voting booth.

What Must Be Done Now

The time for complacency has passed. Between now and August 8th, every supporter must become an advocate, every advocate, an organizer, and every organizer, a mobilizer. We must register voters, educate our communities about the stakes of this election, and ensure that on election day, every eligible voter casts their ballot for continuity and progress.

This is not the time for division within our ranks or distractions from our goal. Political opponents will mount their campaigns, spread their messages, and compete for the same votes. Our advantage lies in our record, our unity, and our unwavering commitment to seeing this mission through.
