Oyo Gov Makes New Appointments - THE METRO

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has made two new appointments.

The governor appointed Dr Aderemi Ayodele as a member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, while he also appointed CP Ayodele Sonubi (retd) as Executive Adviser (Rule of Law Enforcement).

Ayodele’s appointment takes immediate effect, while Sonubi’s appointment takes effect from April 1, 2025.

The appointments were announced in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, according to a release on Friday issued by the Special Adviser (Media) to Oyo State Governor, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The release added, “Dr Ayodele is a former Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.

“He had previously served as the Chairman of Ibadan North-West Local Government.

“Sonubi is the immediate past Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command.”

Makinde charged the new appointees to discharge their duties with commitment, dedication and loyalty to the state.
