JUST IN: Atiku, Tambuwal, Imoke meet Obasanjo in Abeokuta

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Monday paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State, for a closed-door meeting.

Atiku, who contested the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party and is believed to be considering another run in 2027, reportedly arrived at the OOPL around 12:36 p.m.

He further proceeded to the penthouse section, where Obasanjo received him.

He was accompanied by former Cross River State Governor, Liyel Imoke, former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Abdul Ningi of Bauchi, and Obasanjo’s close associate, Otunba Oyewole Fasawe, among others.

Meanwhile, as of press time, the purpose of the visit is yet to be disclosed.
