NUOLGS National Body Shows Solidarity with Fire Outbreak Victims

…Appreciates Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s Support for okitipupa market fire outbreak victims financial supports

In a heartwarming display of compassion and empathy, the National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS) national body, led by Sen . Prince Adeoye Omoleminu , visited the victims of a devastating fire outbreak in Okitipupa, Ondo State, on January 16, 2025. The fire, which occurred opposite the new garage, left a trail of destruction and despair.

Sen. Prince Adeoye Omoleminu and his team offered comfort, support, and hope to those affected, listening attentively to their stories and sharing in their pain. The national president-elect’s presence was a beacon of light, as he assured the victims that the union would advocate for their rights.

The NUOLGS national body also expressed gratitude to Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South Senatorial District, for his generous donation of N10 million to traders affected by a previous fire outbreak in Okitipupa . The union appreciated his continued support to his constituents, we believe that he we continue to listen and support his people’s always.

Sen. Prince Adeoye Omoleminu called on the government to investigate the incident and provide support to the victims. He emphasized the need for functional fire services in the area to prevent similar disasters.
