A New Dawn for Okitipupa Students: NUOLGS Meets Federal Commissioner, Seeks Jobs and Institutional Support

…NUOLGS NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS STRENGTHS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION

The National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS) National Headquarters, under the leadership of Prince Adeoye Omoleminu, paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency, Hon. Mrs Kemi Iyantan, Federal Commissioner representing Ondo State at the Commission, at her office in Akure on 18th February 2026.

The meeting was warm, productive, and highly impactful. The National President formally introduced the National Executives and presented the vision, mission, and ongoing activities of the Union to the Honourable Commissioner, emphasizing NUOLGS’ commitment to student development and community advancement.

Prince Adeoye Omoleminu congratulated Her Excellency on her well-deserved appointment and appreciated her continued support, particularly during the Okitipupa Students Festival held in December last year. He further sought her mentorship and strategic partnership for upcoming union programs and developmental initiatives.

In his advocacy remarks, the National President passionately appealed for increased employment opportunities for graduating students of Okitipupa Local Government. He noted that many qualified graduates are actively seeking meaningful employment and expressed confidence that, through her influence and goodwill, deserving students could benefit from both federal and state job opportunities.

Her Excellency warmly welcomed the delegation and commended the proactive leadership of the Union. She pledged her unwavering support for NUOLGS programs and encouraged students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to academic excellence.

She assured the Union that whenever employment opportunities arise, she would wholeheartedly support and guide them. She further praised the National President for his visionary leadership and dedication to the welfare of his people.

The National President was accompanied by the General Secretary of the Union, Comrade Gbodi Iyanuoluwa, Comrade Ifetayo Abola John, Comrade Ikuedowo Faith Adenike.

In her words, she described him as “a great and commendable leader who speaks for his people and not for himself alone.”

She concluded by reaffirming her continuous support for the Union and wishing the delegation a safe journey back.
