What Tinubu Told Me During My Visit — Elumelu

Chairman of Heirs Holdings and founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Tony Elumelu, has shared details of his recent meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the engagement as productive and forward-looking.

Elumelu, who met the President in his capacity as a member of the Presidential Economic Council on Friday, said discussions centred on Nigeria’s key economic priorities, with both sides exchanging ideas and feedback constructively.

He disclosed this on Saturday via his verified Facebook handle.

According to him, he was particularly encouraged by the President’s commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs, strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and fast-tracking reforms in the power sector.

He stressed that reliable electricity remains fundamental to economic growth and national development, reiterating his long-held position that sustainable power supply is critical to unlocking Nigeria’s full economic potential.
