Ondo @50: Aiyedatiwa’s aide, Oluyemi Fasipe hails resilience, diaspora contributions

The Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Diaspora Matters, Oluyemi Fasipe, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the people of the state at home and in the diaspora on the occasion of the state’s 50th anniversary.

Fasipe, also known as Yemie Fash, said the golden jubilee celebration marked 50 years of resilience, growth and steady progress, which he described as a testament to the unity, strength and hardworking spirit of the Ondo people.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, the governor’s aide noted that indigenes of the state, both within the country and abroad, had continued to contribute significantly to the development and global image of Ondo State.

He particularly applauded the Ondo diaspora community, saying their investments, knowledge transfer and consistent support had remained vital to the state’s advancement.

According to him, the sustained connection between the diaspora and their homeland has continued to drive development efforts and inspire hope for a brighter future.

As the state marks its golden jubilee, Fasipe urged residents to reflect on how far Ondo State has come, celebrate its achievements and renew their commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous state for future generations.
