The Premier League has produced many great penalty takers over the years, but scoring regularly from the spot is about more than confidence alone; it requires composure, technique, and consistency.

Other prolific scorers such as Frank Lampard, Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane, Steven Gerrard, and Mark Noble also feature high on the list of penalties scored, yet fall short of the top 10 when judged by conversion percentage.

According to data compiled by Opta and reported by BBC Sport on Tuesday, ex- Man City midfielder Yaya Touré and Fulham striker Raúl Jiménez sit at the summit of Premier League penalty efficiency among players who have taken at least 10 spot-kicks. Both boast a perfect 100 per cent record, scoring all 11 penalties they attempted.
