NFF Speaks on Super Eagles’ Accommodation in Morocco After Iwobi’s Video

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has clarified the situation regarding the Super Eagles’ accommodation in Morocco, following a viral video shared by midfielder Alex Iwobi highlighting the state of the hotel.

Football journalist Adepoju Tobi Samuel, quoting the Super Eagles’ media officer, said, “The Super Eagles are camped at Rive Hotel. What trended earlier was the view of an old building that can be seen from a window.

“Rive was chosen because of its proximity to the team’s training facility and the stadium here in Rabat.”

Iwobi’s post had raised concerns about the team’s welfare and preparation standards ahead of their crucial playoff clash against Gabon on Thursday.

Nigeria earned their spot in the playoff round after finishing second in Group C, behind South Africa.

The Super Eagles are set to face Gabon in the playoff semi-final, with the winner advancing to meet either DR Congo or Cameroon in the final.
