The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that its recruitment portal will officially close on Friday, 7th November 2025, urging all shortlisted applicants to confirm their status on the official website recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
In a statement signed by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) A.M. Jibril, Secretary to the Board, dated 4th November 2025, the CDCFIB revealed that all shortlisted candidates will participate in an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled to run from Wednesday, 12th November to Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
According to the statement, the test will be conducted exclusively online, marking a shift from the previously designated physical CBT centres, which have now been discontinued.
Applicants who had earlier selected CBT centres are required to log in to the recruitment portal and choose a new date and time for their online test. The Board noted that the link for the test will be published on Tuesday, 11th November 2025.
The CDCFIB also advised candidates to ensure they have a stable internet connection and the necessary digital devices to complete the test successfully. It further urged them to carefully follow all instructions on their examination slips to avoid disqualification.
“Applicants are to ensure they have a stable internet connection, necessary devices to take the online test, as well as carefully follow the instructions on the examination slip to avoid disqualification,” the statement added.
Reaffirming its dedication to a credible recruitment process, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board emphasised its commitment to ensuring a smooth, fair, and transparent exercise, while calling on all shortlisted candidates to comply with the outlined guidelines.
