Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has opened up about his humble beginnings, revealing that he once engaged in menial jobs to survive as a child.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Osimhen recalled fetching water for neighbours and cleaning algae-filled gutters, earning as little as N80 and N30 for each task.
The football star’s story has inspired many, highlighting his journey from street hustles to international football stardom.
He said, “There was a building in front of my house, this kind face-me-I-face-you, up of the building there, I used to fetch water for the people there for N80 and most of the time, I would wash gutter when the green things (spirogyra) are coming out…”
